Our 10" flat flashing is made from seamless aluminum. It connects to the Dome Assembly and is used with flat roof applications.  The 10x14 45 Degree Elbow is useful when a tubular skylight installation requires flexibility to maneuver around obstacles in an attic or when a pitched roof has a greater than 27 degree angle. Its also made of highly reflective aluminum materials.  Helpful Ordering Information: You should know what type of roof you have (pitched or flat, tile or shingle). The approximate distance between your roof and ceiling (determines appropriate length of light pipe) as well as type of ceiling, flat or vaulted/cathedral. This information will determine if optional kit components are required. Decisions To Make During Ordering Process: 1. 10" Flashing Type: 10" pitched flashing is our standard flashing included with our tubular skylight kit. It's used on pitched roofs with flat ceilings. 10" flat flashing is used on flat roofs or pitched roofs to a vaulted/cathedral ceiling. 2. 10" Diffuser Type: 10" Prismatic Diffuser is our standard diffuser included with our tubular skylight kit. It provides optimal lighting and prevents heat from entering your rooms. 10" White Domed Diffuser actually dims the daylight provided by our solar tube skylights. 3.10" Elbow: An elbow may be required with vaulted/cathedral ceiling applications or when a pitched roof has an angle greater than 27 degrees. 4. 10" Extra Light Pipe: Each kit includes 48 inches of Light Pipe. If the distance between the installation area of your roof and ceiling is greater than 40 inches, you can purchase additional sections of light pipe. Each section is 24 inches.
